Most of this website is fun and games and ruminations. Does
the word "ruminate" come from the poet "Rumi"
or from "ruminant" which is an herbivore like a
cow that chews its cud, e.g., what it has swallowed and then
regurgitated. The similarity makes us realize that livestock
and poetry are the stuff of humanity.

Rumi has many poems which feature Asses.
One poem may have brought you here. Others will be included as I
encounter them. But actually, more profound at this moment, is
a
line from one of his poems about a camel. That line will be found
and recorded here for your amazement, although it seems I have lent out my Rumi book again so it might be a while before
I get it back and find the poem.
Gholombezom Ass Obsession
A letter from Mr.
Gholombezom to Zemzem (which makes us wonder if he really
is an Angel. All typos and ethnic slurs are sic)
"Thank you very much for sending me your nice and important
discovery. I always thought that ASS (donkey) is important to the
human destiny and development, and that is why I always use and
missuse that word. It shows it's significance. One important point
in this direction which has attracted my thoughts during the past
few years is what happened to Jesus' ASS which he was ridding on
as he entered Jerusalem. Nothing was said about her or his fate.
you have heard about Holy cow she is holy ASS. and for that part
she is worth looking to her fate. If we can find a trace of her offsprings
now some place in the world we can breed them and sell them to
Catholic
countries so that faithfulls can get cure by touching her ears
or
tail. they can apply her manure to get cure from uncurable diseases.
They can use her as a potent Placibo to get all kind of miracles
and cures phisical as well as mental. it is not far-fetched Jesus
said that "Your faith saved you" so if you have faith
to something and if relation exist between that thing and the source
of power for cure and salvation then you have it. anyway that is
another idea to be explored in the future with the idea of cat
farming

Southern Literature Defined
I once read an article which tried to explain the characteristics of Southern
American literature. It all came down to: The book
has to have a dramatic sequence involving the death
of donkeys. I have lost this article but will try
to find it again and link to it here. But, for example,
if you all remember "Their Eyes Were Watching God",
that qualifies because of its "Donkey Funeral" sequence.
Plus it's great literature.
