The stone the builder's rejected
As far as any belief system, especially religion, is concerned, there are
users and there are believers. And then there are neither. People who think that the belief
system, say a religion, is obsolete and irrelevant. In today's world, these people are mystified.
"Like a lot of people these days, I'm a recovering secularist. Until Sept. 11
I accepted the
notion that as
the world becomes
richer and better
educated, it
becomes less
religious. This
theory holds
that as history
moves forward,
science displaces
dogma and reason
replaces unthinking
obedience. It's
now clear that
the secularization
theory is untrue."
- David Brooks Well, DUH. Silly Secularists.
The human dilemma is basically a spiritual dilemma, and this doesn't have anything to
do with God or actual truth. (Although it could. Ajaban neither confirms nor denies (thrice) the savior).
We're out dodging lightning from various deities and searching through holy
texts. We'll complete this section if we get back!
